Janice, an oncology nurse, recalls with colleague Nancy the solemn experience she shared with a cancer patient and her 20-year-old daughter. The patient requested to remain in the hospital because she didn’t want to die at home where her daughter lived. She wanted it to remain a happy place. Her wish was honored.
