Gabriela conversa con Lidia sobre la atención de salud mental que ha recibido en el Centro de Salud Vecinal de St. Jude. Inicialmente, se mostró reticente a buscar ayuda debido al estigma asociado a la atención de la salud mental en la comunidad latina. Pero ella quiere que las personas sepan que si necesitan ayuda, deben obtenerla. Gabriela opens up to Lidia about the mental health care she has received at the St. Jude Neighborhood Health Center. Initially, she was reluctant to seek help because of the stigma attached to mental health care in the Latino community. But she wants people to know if they need help, they should get it. Lidia, a registered associate marital and family therapist, wants everyone to know St. Jude’s is a safe haven for undocumented immigrants where they can seek help for many services, including medical, dental, and prenatal care.
