From coworkers to caregivers

Carlie was in a meeting with a coworker when she heard a loud emergency vehicle arrive at the hospital where she worked. A few minutes later, she got a call that her husband was downstairs in the emergency department. She immediately sought out Father Innocent, the hospital chaplain, as she made her way to the emergency department. At that moment, her coworkers became caregivers for both her and her husband.
