Harriet was married to her husband, Ed, for 33 years before they divorced. Two years later, Ed got sick with cancer and moved back in with her through the end of his life. Despite the divorce, she realized there was still love between them. Harriet met Phil when Ed was in hospice care. Phil was one of the volunteers helping Harriet.
