Mumbai to Portland

Dipti and Gauri grew up next door to each other in Mumbai, India, and reconnected after they discovered on social media they were both living in Portland, Ore. They love to share the holidays together, and Diwali is their favorite. Homes are decorated with lights and colorful patterns on the floor called rangoli.
